OHSAS 18001 Internal Auditor Training Course (2 or 3 days)
Course Aims And Objectives
The need for developing special skills in carrying out objective and systematic OHSMS audits is growing rapidly as companies implement OHSAS 18001. This 2-day Auditors Training Course has been designed specifically for members of in-house company H&S teams who wish to develop their skills and knowledge of the OHS Management System Audit process.
This course provides delegates with the ability and confidence to ask the right questions, to evaluate H&S-related information and to undertake effective management audits that meet the requirements of the international auditing standard (ISO 19011).
Some short presentations will be made but the focus of the course is to provide group and individual exercises to ensure that each delegate understands how to carry out an audit. Delegates will be divided into teams who will plan for their part in the practical audit on day 2.

Course Content
This course follows a programme covering the following subjects ;-
The course is mainly practical and hands-on, with the minimum of theory. Delegates will then carry out an audit on day 2 within their own company. Results and summary will be part of the course, thus the course provides a real audit of your own management system. The tutor will ensure that the results are relevant to the organisation.
